Professor Mukesh Kumar Tiwari, an eminent professor of History, having specialization in modern and contemporary history, is well known for his contribution in academic field. Four scholars have been awarded Ph.D. under his supervision. He was chairman, Board of Studies (History), A. P. S. University Rewa from August 2005 to June 2008. He has discharged the responsibility of Principal in a number of Government Colleges of Madhya Pradesh for 14 Years and proved his administrative competence. As a member of the standing committee of Rajya Shiksha Kendra M.P. he played very important role in politic improvement of education in M.P.
